In Islam, shirk (associating partners with Allah) is the greatest sin. Many people believe that shirk only means worshipping idols, but in reality, there are many types of shirk that have become common today. In his dreams, Muhammad Qasim has seen that pictures, statues, and modern designs have also become a form of shirk.
Shirk is the Greatest Injustice
Allah states in the Quran:
“Indeed, shirk is a great injustice.”
(Surah Luqman 31:13)
This verse clearly tells us that shirk is not just a sin, but the greatest injustice, because it denies Allah’s oneness and supremacy.
Types of Shirk common in the Modern Era:
1️⃣ Shirk in Worship (Shirk fi al-Ibadah)
Worshipping or making dua to anyone besides Allah, such as considering Prophets, saints, or angels as equal to Allah.
2️⃣ Shirk in Names and Attributes (Shirk fi al-Asma wa al-Sifat)
Attributing Allah’s unique qualities to someone else, such as believing that another being has the knowledge of the unseen like Allah.
3️⃣ Shirk in Creation (Shirk fi al-Takhliq)
Believing that humans can imitate Allah’s creation, such as making pictures of animates, statues, or designs of living beings.
Challenging Allah’s Creation
When a human tries to replicate a living being, they are challenging Allah’s creation, even though they can never breathe life into it – Na’udhubillah (we seek refuge in Allah from this).
Allah states in the Quran:
“And when you (O Isa) made from clay the figure of a bird by My permission, and then you breathed into it, and it became a bird by My permission.”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:110)
This verse speaks about the miracle of Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him), who, by Allah’s command, shaped a bird from clay and breathed life into it. But this was only by Allah’s permission.
This proves that giving life is solely Allah’s authority. When a person creates an image or statue of a living being, they are challenging this divine power, and this is the greatest sin.
Hadith: Angels of Mercy Do Not Enter Homes with Pictures
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The angels of mercy do not enter a house in which there is a picture or a dog.”
(Sahih Bukhari 3225, Sahih Muslim 2106)
This hadith makes it clear that houses containing images of living beings are deprived of Allah’s mercy. And it is Allah’s mercy that grants success in this life and salvation in the hereafter. Without Allah’s mercy, we can face hardships in this world and punishment in the next.
Hadith: The Command to Remove Pictures
Aisha (RA) narrated:
“The Prophet ﷺ entered and saw a curtain with a picture on it, and he ordered for it to be removed.”
(Sahih Bukhari 5955, Sahih Muslim 2107)
This hadith proves that pictures should not exist at all. The Prophet ﷺ strictly forbade keeping images, regardless of the purpose.
Iman Mujmal (Summary of Faith) and Belief in Allah’s Attributes
A fundamental part of faith is:
“I believe in all the names and attributes of Allah and accept all His commands.”
Among the 99 names of Allah, some significant ones include:
Al-Khaliq (The Creator)
Al-Bari (The Originator)
Al-Musawwir (The One Who Shapes and Forms)
Associating anyone with these divine attributes is shirk.
Muhammad Qasim’s Statement – Interview on Neo TV
Muhammad Qasim stated in his interview with Dr. Subayyal Al-Ikram on Neo TV:
“When a person makes the shape of a statue or picture of a living being, they are challenging the oneness of Allah’s creation.”
“Allah has given every living being a unique form and placed a soul within them. But when humans try to replicate a living being, they are, in essence, claiming to create like Allah – whereas they can never breathe life into it, Na’udhubillah.”
Muhammad Qasim’s Dream – Allah’s Command
In a dream, Allah said (in similar words) to Muhammad Qasim:
“Qasim! If Hindus look at idols and pictures on their walls, and today’s Muslims do the same, then what difference remains between the two?”
This dream warns us about the dangers of keeping pictures and statues, leading to shirk.
What Should We Do?
✅ Completely follow Allah’s commands.
✅ Follow the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ.
✅ Avoid keeping pictures, 3D models, and statues in homes and offices (unless necessary)
✅ Refrain from creating, printing, or editing images of living beings, without purpose.
✅ Stay away from digital art, 3D graphics, and animations that imitate Allah’s creation (unless necessary or required).
✅ Educate others about the dangers of shirk and its consequences.
The Path to Muslim Ummah’s Success
In his dreams, Muhammad Qasim saw that Muslims will only become a great power when they abandon shirk and have pure Tawheed (monotheism).
However, as long as Muslims do not eliminate hidden forms of shirk, they will not receive Allah’s help.
📢 Shirk is the root cause of Muslim Ummah’s downfall. If we truly want Muslim unity and victory, we must eliminate all forms of shirk.
💡 Muhammad Qasim’s dreams are a warning – will we listen and act?
In cases of necessity, like ID cards and passports, of course it is allowed. Similarly, it is very difficult to avoid images in children’s toys, but they should be kept covered when not in use.
In short, effort must be made to acknowledge and avoid shirk in its various forms, especially hard copies of pictures of living beings. Allah knows well our circumstances so He will not burden us more than our capacity. May Allah allow us to remove all forms of tangible and hidden shirk from our lives, so He becomes Pleased with us, ameen!
